Seeing a need for energetic, nonprofit work in this area, we formed our organization to provide sensible solutions. After volunteering at various hunger relief organizations in our area, we looked to find a way to expand our reach. Through Food4Thought, our goal is to route donations to international organizations in under developed regions as well as those in our area.

We focus on making the maximum positive effort for our community. We started this organization as a way to connect and support education and food security in rural areas. With the help of volunteers and donors, we support organizations such as JOSHConnect, Northwest Harvest, Food Lifeline, and Feeding America. The money that is collected is distributed to various non-profits.

During the COVID-19 crisis, many schools have closed and large amounts of people are being laid off. While in some communities, provisions have been made to provide food and resources to the people suffering from the consequences of the crisis, in many areas, families continue to go hungry, and the magnitude of their situations is only exacerbated by the lack of jobs and schooling. During this time, the funds raised by our organization have more value than ever, as they allow other non-profits, that continue to operate during this time, to help people affected by the crisis get back on their feet and survive this unpredictable time.
